Departures had a feature on the best small hotels in Paris today and one colorful option definitely caught my eye. The Hotel La Belle Juliette is conveniently located in the Sixth and named after Juliette Recamier, the famous salon hostess and sofa namesake. What I really love about this hotel are gorgeous colors and boiseries. They make me want to repaint my walls in that pale pinky lilac color. But since my walls were just painted, maybe a trip to Paris is in order to experience them in person. À bientôt!

Parisian Dream
I'm swamped with work so until I can take a breath and write a post, I encourage you to head over to The New York Times. I loved the story of a designer who bought a little house in Paris. It's also a great reminder that it's never to late to make your dreams come true.

Chic Cafe Chairs
I am also looking for a cafe table and chairs for a small kitchen in one of my projects . I would really love to be able to use these French cafe chairs but I'm not sure they will fit. The most famous of them come from TK Collections which supplies chairs to almost all the cafes in Paris including a few I ate in during my last trip. I love the almost endless combination of colors and weaves. As you can see from these examples, they add a cheerful pop of color to kitchens and can withstand a lot of wear and tear. Probably why they the French have loved them for so long. Bon Appétit!

Parisian Chic
I recently came across another amazing apartment in Paris that was featured in the February/March 2011 issue of Côté Paris magazine. I absolutely love the living room and period details but not as much the bedroom's wood paneling. But to each his own I guess. A good reminder about everything in life, not just interiors.
